Naughty Nun Touched My Bum

"Naughty Nun Touched My Bum"
"Fergie Decks Becks"
"Brad Pitt Ate My Sandwich"

Those are a few of the front page headlines papering the wall of international spy, Galahad, played by Colin Firth in the first Kingsman movie.

(I'm introducing my daughter to the Kingsman so she can watch #2 while it's in the theaters.  Forgot how funny it was with a lisping Samuel Jackson as a deranged billionaire who's intent on wiping out the world's population except for a select few in a dramatic effort to save the world from climate change.)

Each of the front pages papering Galahad's walls commemorate his successful missions since he can't get public recognition for his role in saving the world.

Kinda like how Edward displayed his numerous high school graduation mortar boards in one of the Twilight movies.

Or how Dexter, in the awesome HBO series "Dexter", collected blood slides as trophies for each of his victims.

So, it got me thinking...

Each cycle you have ba-da-bing-ba-da-boom (whether it's at home or at the fertility doctor's office) at the optimal time.  Then it's a waiting game to see if you're pregnant.  When Aunt Flo comes, she brings crushing disappointment.  It feels like you're never going to reach your goal.

But during that cycle, do you do anything to acknowledge the things that went well?

We all are motivated by rewards.  You get disappointed enough, you stop trying.

So focus instead on what and who you love because what you focus on will expand.  If you focus on what's missing i.e. your baby, you can't see all the great things you already have.  Focus to the point where your love for yourself, your partner, friends, family, and life in general crowds out the stuff that hasn't come to fruition yet.  Your fears, anxieties, and doubts automatically diminish as the loooovveee consumes them.  Because it's probably just still in the works and you need to keep the fire lit until it happens.

When you have an action plan to improve your fertility and egg quality in place, it's easier to see improvement.  That's why I created my online fertility group coaching program.  It's still incubating but will be ready in November.  Don't go anywhere!
