How much longer until your fertility hits menopause?

I was asked yesterday how single life 2 years post-divorce was treating me.

Without hesitation, I said it's been way more fun than I could ever expect.  There have been and still are tough periods but overall it's a path I don't regret being shoved onto.

I've learned that living well is a skill.

It's not something that just happens.  It's a journey.

It needs to be cultivated, nurtured, and prioritized.

Because living well requires me to be in the moment, to control my emotions (both positive and negative) instead of them controlling me, to welcome opportunities that will help me grow despite the fear of the unknown, and to have a vision to work towards.

I consciously choose to live well because time is our most precious resource.  The sand in our hourglass is drifting down.

Here's a sobering exercise:
1.  Take your age and subtract it from 50 (average age of menopause in the US, more or less).  For example, if you're 40yo, 50-40=10.
2.  Multiply that number by 365.  So 10 x 365 = 3650

So if you're 40yo now, you have 3,650 days...

To live well before your childbearing years come to an end.

To create a life that a baby WANTS to be a part of, if you don't already have one.

One of love, laughter, kindness - for yourself AND others.  One where you and your partner are healthy of body, mind, and spirit.

If you're constantly stressed and being pulled in every direction, that's not a welcoming body for a baby to call home.

Makes me wonder if part of the reason why it's so much easier to get pregnant when we're much younger, other than the obvious biological advantage, is that we're more carefree, with less worries and obligations.

As we get older, it's much more challenging to remember our younger version when we laughed more and delighted in the smallest things.

Tick, tock.

What will you do today, tomorrow, and each day after to live well?  To grab a little more of that younger you?

I can't tell you how to live your life but I can show you the steps to get you closer to optimal fertile health.  If you want to follow my yellow brick road in my online GPS (Get Pregnant & Stay pregnant) Fertility Program that I laid out for women like you, skip on over here...
