How to Meditate the Judgment Free Way

You know meditation is good for you but you just have a hard time getting around to it.

Just like broccoli.  But I had some today.

And I meditated today.  Twice, in fact.

Meditation is a key component to my day.

It took years of trying different methods before I figured a way that works for me.

It's not that I was doing it wrong.  I really don't think there's a wrong way actually.

But it was the expectation that I had of it.

I thought the goal of it was to have an empty mind.  But that's really tough to achieve.  Especially when you're expecting it.

It's like saying "Don't think of a pink elephant."

Shoot!  There goes that pink elephant.

I was judging my meditation and it was coming up short.  I would get frustrated.  What am I doing wrong?!?

So I gave up.

I'd try it again after awhile.  But the same frustration of not getting an empty mind would creep up.

This cycle would repeat for years.

I finally realized that if I let go of what my expectations about how empty my mind should be, it would eventually get there.

Over time, that emptiness would happen more quickly.  Some days faster than others.  Other days were complete mental chaos and I'm just along for the ride.

But I told myself it was ok.

I kept at it until it's now part of my daily routine.

I feel incomplete without it.  Its effects are like a filled bathtub with the plug pulled.  My thoughts slowly draining out and just leaving behind calm (mostly).

I recommend meditation for every person having trouble conceiving.  It's an amazing tool to help deal with the stress.

You've gotta find an outlet for the pent up emotions and meditation is the best way.

Just do it!  You won't regret it.

I walk my patients through a meditation if they need it.  So if you want to work with me, call me at (858) 495-0771 or book here:
