Anti-aging supplement for men AND women

In response to yesterday's email, a reader asked whether or not men should take collagen protein as a supplement.

Men absolutely can.  

They just should omit protein in their morning butter drink.  The fast from the night before will allow their body to burn fat, instead of carbs, for fuel.   

Women have higher needs for protein so it's needed in the butter drink.

Why collagen protein instead of another protein powder, like whey?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in our bodies, making up 25-35% of the whole-body protein content. 

Of the 28 types of identified collagen, over 90% of the collagen in our bodies are type 1.

Types 1 and 3 are the most commonly found in collagen protein powders.  They're in the hair, skin, nail, and bones.  So if you wanna look purrr-ty, this is the one to use.  Here's what I recommend.

Type 2 is better for joint issues.  It needs to be taken away from Types 1 and 3 though.  If you have arthritis, joint pain, cartilage problems, "popping, squeaky, creaking" joints, type 2 is a must try.
Insider scoop!  Since vitamin C is needed to produce collagen, taking 1 tsp of this vitamin C supplement at the same time potentiates collagen production.
