When telephone booths were still around, Clark Kent could pop in and presto! turn into Superman to save the day. Now he has to go into dark alleys or staircases (cuz everyone takes the elevator).
Doodz, you can be your woman's knight in shining armor as well and save your damsel in distress...
We all know that prenatal advice is usually focused almost entirely on the mom-to-be.
Stuff like taking prenatals and folic acid, stop smoking and drinking, maintaining a healthy weight, etc., etc.
There doesn't seem to be a shortage of advice for women on how to promote healthy pregnancies, normal fetal development, and long-term offspring health.
The problem with this approach is that dad-to-be feels absolved of any responsibility to do his part.
Umm, he's 50% of the equation so that makes no sense whatsoever.
Egg + sperm = baby
Last year, a review of human and animal research suggested that changes in the DNA may be the underlying mechanism by which paternal factors such as age, diet, weight, stress, and alcohol consumption contribute to a range of health outcomes in children including birth defects, behavioral problems, developmental disorders, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.
So it's time for doodz to buck up, pull off their little boy tighty whiteys for big boy boxers, and make the necessary changes to help your women out.
You know, the yoozh...
- Eat right
- Stress management
- Take supplements
- Keep all electronic devices including laptops and cellphones away from your junk
My daily emails provide additional tips that apply to both women AND men trying to get pregnant.
Cuz the stronger the sperm you can make, the better the embryo quality and potentially the less dependent it will be on egg quality.
Fortifying the sperm is especially important for women over 35yo trying to conceive who are concerned with diminishing egg quality.
