Choosing my kids' names was pretty easy.
My only requirement was they had to be 2 syllables. I didn't want them shortened. My choice, my name. Not some slacker's lazy abbreviation.
Ella was inspired by Ella Fitzgerald and a tribute to her grandmother, Ellen. At the time, I didn't know anyone named Ella and thought it would be unique. Much to my chagrin, the name was experiencing a resurgence. Should have stalked some playgrounds to check on name popularity.
I can't remember how I came up with Emme but it's perfect for my 8yo. It's very suitable for being drawn out in frustration ("Eeemmmeeee") or yelled ("EMME!!) or softly spoken when putting her to bed ("emme"). The intonation possibilities are infinite and allows me the wide range of emotions I experience with her. ;)
So why did I choose to call my coaching program "Fertility Hacker"?
Cuz I love, love, love shortcuts! Who doesn't?!?
There's a whole movement of biohacking where medical professionals, scientists, athletes, and the average Joe are figuring out how to "hack" health using the latest technology and science. Some of the recommendations are brand new. Some are high tech. Some are old-school but now have the science to prove efficacy.
Traditional medicine will either never recognize these ideas because they don't fit into their current medical paradigm or will take at least a decade to implement them.
By then, it'll be too late for your fertility.
I, on the other hand, will be bringing some of these innovative ideas to improve egg quality and increase your chances of getting pregnant.
If biohacking your fertility sounds like it could be your groove, checky here to work with me. Registration ends July 22.
