My patient just told me she's pregnant. She's 42yo. Conceived naturally which I knew she could do, just didn't know how long it would take.
It's early yet so we're at the stage of cautious optimism.
We've still got work to do to make sure she passes the critical stage of the first trimester. In fact, I recommended she come twice a week, instead of just once a week during these first few months.
There are 2 reasons why I STRONGLY advise continuing to work with me during the first trimester...
First and foremost - support the pregnancy, specifically implantation and development of the embryo. If a miscarriage were to occur, it would be within the first 12 weeks. So anything we can do to reduce that possibility is worth her time.
Second - minimize symptoms related to the first trimester, most commonly morning sickness (a stupid name cuz it can be any time of the day)
So, if you're on the fence about the coaching program cuz you're starting a medicated cycle in the upcoming weeks and think you'll get pregnant soon, there are still good reasons to join.
One, if all goes well, let's do whatever we can to make sure you have a healthy, thriving baby.
Two, if the cycle doesn't go as planned, you'll be in before registration closes and you can prepare for your next step.
Looky here for the deets on the coaching program before the July 22 deadline.
