This kind of man is a dead man walking

One of my favorite relationship experts, Dr. Pat Allen, advises that unless your man is bleeding out or vomiting his guts out, don't ask him how he feels.  He can figure it out on his own without you mothering him.

As women, we know how men become whiny man-children when it comes to the littlest thing - like a cold.  Not sayin' that's your man, but in general.

OMG!  Bring out the world's tiniest violin when he has the sniffles.

Yet, perplexingly enough, men don't go to the doctor's office unless they're dragged kicking and screaming there.  Again, man-child.

So when I advise men to get a semen analysis, it doesn't surprise me when it takes them months to get it done.  Or they try to wait me out, thinking I'll stop reminding them.

Dude - how hard is it?!?  You already do what you need to do to give a sample.  Just do it at a doctor's office.  Or do it at home and drive it over.  Stop making a big fuss about it.

Your wife or partner is willing to subject herself to needles, a parade of medical staff looking up her most private area, endless tests, etc.

Do your part!

Because it's the single most important test for any man to get when he's TTC.

With 50% of infertility due to sperm issues, it warrants an evaluation.

On top of that, 15% of men with fertility issues have no sperm in their semen, accounting for 1 in 6 men.  In other words, they're shooting blanks.

Beyond fertility problems, these men with no sperm have an average life expectancy of 48.8 years old!

A study of 50,000 men published last week revealed this stunning finding.

So this literally becomes a life or death issue and your male partner needs to get his Kool-Aid checked.

More on semen analysis during my next FB Live on Thursday Oct 25 at 10am PST on FB page (@juliechangfertility). If your partner has a semen analysis less than 1 year old, have it handy during the training.  Don't worry if you can't make it live - it'll be recorded.  In fact, I recommend you watch it with your male partner.

In the meantime, you can watch the recording on how to use IVF more successfully even if you're in your 40s or diagnosed with premature ovarian failure, check it out on my FB page (@juliechangfertility).  It'll only be available for another few days.

All my best,
Julie Chang, L.Ac.
