Neediness is our Achilles heel as humans.
It's what makes us vulnerable to emotional storms that we, as women, have to constantly stand guard against and keep at bay. Otherwise, it will sweep us up and toss us around willy nilly.
When we need something so much that our identity becomes attached to it, the attachment to that outcome becomes an anchor - holding us in one place, preventing us from moving forward.
For children, it's natural to need attention, validation, and love. As parents, we're supposed to provide the emotional support so they can grow into strong, resilient adults ready for life's challenges.
It becomes a problem when adults seek that attention, validation, and love externally from others. Whether it's from a loved one or in the desperate search of their partner.
You have such a huge well of love that it's natural to want to express it in the form of having a child.
However, if it consumes you to the point that it's eating you up, that love poisons you from the inside out, affecting not only you but everyone else around you..
Rather, direct your love so that it can be expressed in a healthy way.
To your partner.
To your family.
To your friends.
To the people already in front of you.
When that love can flourish as it's meant to, your fertility journey becomes a discovery process where you can learn more about yourself and get closer to who you're meant to be.
That's truly what I hope you can take away from my online GPS (Get Pregnant and Stay pregnant) Fertility program.
Yes, it's about helping you improve your fertility naturally even if you're over 40, diagnosed with poor egg quality, had multiple failed IVF cycles, or recurrent miscarriages.
But fundamentally, it's about giving you knowledge and tools so you can live your best life. Because we only have one short one.
I'll get off my pulpit now.
Passing my collection box around now...
