Warning: proud mama moment so must preen!

One of my proudest moments as a mom came this weekend when my 13yo daughter saw a homeless man holding a sign requesting a blanket.

There are always blankets in the car for whenever my kids need the extra warmth or comfort.  So she asked if we could give one to the guy.  Of course.

After telling how her how proud I was of her for 1) noticing someone asking for help and not ignoring it as most people do and 2) to be so kind in giving knowing that she would not get anything back, she said she wished she could do more.

I used this opportunity to talk about how it's important to identify a need so it can be fulfilled in a way that will actually be helpful.  In this case, he specifically requested a blanket so the need was obvious.

For women over 40 years trying to get pregnant, the need to improve egg quality is clear but the route to get there isn't.

Mainly because there's a lot of conflicting information on the internet and even among health professionals about what the best ways are.  Then throw in the need for companies to profit from your journey and the road becomes even more muddy.

In a situation like this, I recommend women have one resource grounded in Western medicine (typically a fertility doctor like a reproductive endocrinologist) and another resource well versed in holistic therapies.  This combination often provides the ideal synthesis of the best of both worlds.

Soooo... the holistic resource would be my Fertility Top10.  Looky here... http://zenfertility.com/top10
