It's St. Patrick's Day. Seeing as how I'm sooo not Irish AND don't drink, I'm scratching my head over what to write that's relevant to this particular holiday. Scraping the bottom of the barrel, I guess...
Alright, here's what I came up with...
My favorite Irish import (not including Kenneth Branagh, Bram Stoker, and Bono) is...
Kerrygold Irish Butter
That stuff is everywhere! Even at Trader's Joes - thank goodness. Costco too, I hear. And the major supermarkets.
What makes it so special is that it's butter from grass-fed cows.
Not from those on large, commercial dairy farms where cows are pumped full of hormones, antibiotics, fed who-knows-what, and living in dirty, crowded conditions.
The stuff is pure pot o' gold for improving fertility. The saturated fat in grass-fed butter helps make essential hormones to get pregnant, form the building blocks for a strong embryo to stay pregnant, and have a baby with healthy brain cells.
The downside is that it's pasteurized, not raw but, for convenience sake, it'll do. Especially since it's very affordable.
