If you're at the "what's next?" stage...

I've been watching the series "Arrow" with my 8yo.  It's our Friday night "movie".

The main character has serious skillz with his bow and arrow.  Surprise, surprise.

His teacher starts his training by having him slap his hand in a bowl of water for hours to gain the strength to pull the bow. Kinda like Miyagi in "Karate Kid" with the whole wax-on, wax-off thing.  Or how when I first learned acupuncture, we started with pieces of fruit before we could insert sharp objects like acupuncture needles in actual humans.

There's a progression in building a foundation.  Taking the shortcut doesn't always work.  When it doesn't, it means lost time, money, and energy.  Then you have to regroup and figure out "what now?".

You're probably at the "what now?" stage since the inseminations and IVFs haven't worked.

So this is my take...

Maybe it's a matter of taking a step back and evaluating what's working and what's not.

The difficult part for some is to take that step back, removing yourself from the emotional storm, and assessing your current situation.

Deep down, we all have the intuitive awareness of what needs to be done to move forward.  Slowing down enough to hear those whispers and heed them is often the pivotal moment to getting you on the road to success.  An unplugged weekend might be all you need.

Often at this age in your late 30s and 40s, you're juggling a lot of things.  Work, family, fertility,...  It's a lot. Something might have to give so you have the space to focus on getting pregnant.

That often is your starting point - to create a space so you can give your health and fertility the attention they need and deserve.  All too often, women squeeze in their fertility planning into an already hectic schedule, pulling themselves in yet another direction.  Rather, a better tactic is to reduce your current load to the most important priorities (including getting pregnant) so you have enough energy to them well.  It's not about how much you can do but how well you can do them.

If you're committed to making the changes needed to improve your fertility and need guidance on what supplements to take, what foods to eat, and what lifestyle changes to make, an 1-hour phone consult with me will give you your next steps.  They're only $149 until tonight at 9:00pm PST.  Then they're gone.  POOF.  If you want the 1 hour consult, what are you waiting for?  Click here!
