Acing your fertility game

“If you are behind in a game, it’s so important to relax, and that’s what I do – when I’m behind in a game, that’s when I become most relaxed,” she added. “Just focus on one point at a time… just that sole point, and then the next one, and the next one.”

Excellent strategy, Serena!

One that can work for you as well.

When you're trying to get pregnant, it's not only about the big moments like the IVFs, inseminations, and getting the timing right if you're trying naturally. 

Those are important of course.

But it's the small, daily decisions you make to keep moving forward that are vital to your ultimate success.  Things like eating more unprocessed foods, exercising, removing distractions, meditating. 

Those are your "points."  You score enough points, you might actually win the entire game, not just the match.

The hard part is being consistent even when you feel like it's hopeless. 

That's when you have to relax, like Serena, and focus on the next step right in front of you, not the pregnancy test weeks away.
