You know what they call a quarter pounder with cheese in France?
Royale with cheese. Cuz they use the metric system.
...Fun little tidbit from John Travolta in "Pulp Fiction." Don't know if it's true but no matter.
I bring this up cuz a study of >5500 women that came out last month showed women who ate fast food at least 4 times a week took about 24% longer to get pregnant and had 41% increased risk of infertility than women who didn't eat fast food.
Why is fast food so bad?
Oh, I don't know...
Maybe cuz you have no idea what ingredients are used and how damaged the frying oil is from being used repeatedly.
Or you're consuming toxic cooking oils even if you don't eat the fries and high amounts of refined sugar.
These all contribute to poor egg and sperm quality by damaging DNA...aging those delicate cells more quickly than you can imagine.
Poor egg and/or sperm quality from unhealthy food choices is a major reason why women over 35 years have more difficulty getting and staying pregnant.
Fast food is about convenience.
There is nothing convenient about living and eating a healthy lifestyle.
You have to shop, prep, cook, and clean up.
But instead of grumbling about it, accept it and make it a part of your lifestyle.
A little bit at a time. Done consistently every day.
There's no need to do a complete overhaul at once. That might be too overwhelming.
But make these seemingly small yet critical changes and you'll see significant improvements in your overall health and your fertility will naturally follow.
Lucky you! I explain in great detail how to eat for your fertility. I even include recipes to help you get up to speed more quickly. Check out my Fertility Top10 here... http://zenfertility.com/top10
