Declare your independence!

The U.S. celebrates its birthday today - 242 years after it declared independence from Britain.

Although the Lee Resolution, the vote for independence of the 13 original colonies (who says 13 is an unlucky number?) from British colonialists, was passed on July 2, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was officially signed July 4, 1776.

The most famous signature belongs to John Hancock, most likely cuz it was a lot larger than the others rather than the fact that he was the first to sign the Declaration.

It's so well-known that "John Hancock" is  a synonym for "signature."

His signature continues as a symbol of his legacy.

What is YOUR legacy?

You want it to be your child.

The one you've been spending years trying to conceive.

On this day, declare your independence from the bonds of your past.

The disappointments of seeing your period come every month and the failed medicated cycles only serve to shackle you to an expectation of yet another failure.

Rather, focus on starting fresh every month with renewed vigor and hope.

If you've been working on improving your nutrition, taking your supplements, managing your stress, have faith that you are increasing your chances of getting pregnant every month.

This journey is a test of your endurance, resilience, and courage.

Your period is going to come every month regardless of whether or not you continue trying.

So why not make the most of it?
