That was the amount of the ticket my friend got for riding his rented electric scooter without a helmet.
No warning from the rental company whatsoever. No ability to rent a helmet on the spot.
Being blindsided with the rules took an unwelcome chunk out of his wallet.
Being blindsided with the rules of fertility and pregnancy will take a lot more than your money.
It'll take a resource that's even more precious.
There are certain cardinal rules you must adhere to when you're trying to get pregnant if you have poor egg quality and low ovarian reserve.
One of which is to explore ALL options.
Information is power. Whether you act on that knowledge or not is your choice.
But if you don't have it in the first place, you start with a handicap from "Go."
There is no ONE thing that will get you pregnant.
It's the cumulative effect of the small actions you take every day to improve your overall health that will tip the scale in your favor.
Just because you spend $15,000+ on an IVF cycle doesn't guarantee success. Look at the stats and you'll see what I mean.
However, if you eat better, exercise, manage your stress, and live a better life every day, those can help put you in the 10% success (or less) category.
