Status quo flatlines your fertility

I saw my kid's bed sheet blood stained from various cuts, scrapes, and nosebleeds.

"Why are you sleeping on this? Why don't you wash it?", I ask her.

"I did," she replies.

"Why didn't you get a new sheet since they didn't wash off?"

"I dunno."

It was easier for her to sleep on dried blood stains than ask me where she could get another clean one.  Sigh...

The standards that we're willing to accept for ourselves cuz we're just too lazy to go out of our way, even if the effort is tiny, prevents many from achieving their dreams.

Our existence is shifting to an increasing amount of convenience.  You don't even need to shop for groceries anymore!  They'll deliver.

But it makes us lazy, complacent, and unwilling to challenge others.

Because we would rather accept status quo and let others make the decision for us.  And complain when things don't go our way.

If you're trying to get pregnant after years of no success, you're stuck and need to shake yourself loose.

Challenge yourself to do new things.

Think differently.  You are in control, not a victim of circumstances.  Poor egg quality, low ovarian reserve, premature ovarian failure are often due to lifestyle choices and less because of genetics.

Act differently.  You have choices everyday that'll either help or hurt your fertility.

Feel differently.  Despair is for those who are on the verge of giving up.  Hope is for the resilient, even if it feels like blind faith.

Only if you change your current situation can you improve your outcome.

Your baby will not come from giving up.

Rather, he will come from you moving forward everyday to improve your health.

My friend's message to me on July 4th was "May you celebrate liberation from ...the boredom of status quo."

To you I say "May you celebrate liberation from the ineffectiveness of status quo."  Change your situation today to realize your dream.
