How being a drone is good for your fertility

The Borg in the Star Trek series are one of my favorite villains.

Aliens linked in a hive mind, they turned their victims into drones with cybernetic enhancements and end up looking like robotic zombies.

Their catchphrase "Resistance is futile" became part of pop culture.

Each drone had an alcove to regenerate when not in use...essentially their bed.

Just as drones need time to regenerate, you do as well.

Lack of sleep can reduce your fertility significantly.

If you are still awake, that “second wind” you might experience around 10 p.m. is a result of a rise in mental activity and energy at this time.

However, the true value of the “second wind” can only be experienced if you are asleep by 10 p.m. because 10pm-2am is the time when your body repairs and restores itself.

As you sleep, your body is removing the effects of free radicals that have been produced by stress throughout the day.  Antioxidants produced at night prevent cellular and DNA damage by these free radicals, which ultimately causes poor egg quality leading to the inability to get pregnant or sustain a pregnancy.

So, at the risk of sounding like a nag, go to sleep by 10pm every night.

You will be rewarded with improved fertility.

Better sleep is just a small part of becoming more fertile.  If you're committed to improving your overall health so you can increase your chance of success, my GPS (Get Pregnant and Stay pregnant) Fertility Program is still open for a limited amount of time to new clients.  Check it out here:
