Julie Chang, L.Ac. - founder and owner of Zen Fertility Center

Hello and welcome to the online home of Zen Fertility Center! My name is Julie Chang, the Center's owner and founder.  I'm delighted to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with you!

Since opening my doors in 2000, I have had the good fortune to help hundreds of clients, both women and men, find their best path to pregnancy. Supporting future parents as they achieve their family goals has been my great privilege, and through them I've discovered how a thoughtful marriage of Western and Chinese Medicine can produce more success stories than either could on their own.

My "recipe" includes not only a blend of disciplines, but also a continuing education effort, to ensure patients have all the accurate, current information they need to make informed decisions about their fertility care -- and ensure I stay up-to-date within my own speciality so I can best serve clients.

Just as every child born is unique and special, there is no one-size-fits-all solution that works best for every patient -- and that's exactly the way it should be. I believe strongly in personalized, agile fertility care that takes into account each client's history, circumstances and goals, and can adapt as each client's journey toward childbirth progresses.

I hope you take advantage of the resources I have available on the site, and look forward to meeting you.  The next step in achieving your successful pregnancy begins today!  If you're ready to commit to doing what it takes to prepare your body for a successful pregnancy and a healthy baby, consider me as your guide, mentor, friend, and support system.  I only accept clients fully committed to improving their ENTIRE health (physical, mental, and emotional) because I believe that is the most effective path to fertility.

I have been practicing acupuncture since 1995.  My passion is to educate women on safe, natural options that effectively address the diverse healthcare needs of women and children.  It is my hope that women become empowered with the correct information to make more informed decisions for themselves and their families.  Health is fundamental to reach one's potential.  I hope that my knowledge and experience can help you achieve your dreams.

Due to my extensive experience in helping women and men overcome fertility challenges, I have been featured on San Diego's local news channels, including ABC, NBC, CW, and Channel 4.  I have also trained other acupuncturists in fertility acupuncture and how to integrate acupuncture's best practices with Western medical treatments to obtain the most optimal results.
